The Rev. Laurie Tiberi, D.Min.

Laurie Tiberi has been serving as Interim Pastor at Central Presbyterian Church since January of 2024. Prior to that, she served Presbyterian congregations in Lockport, Binghamton, New Hyde Park, and Rochester, all in New York, and also served for 16 years as Director of Genesee Area Campus Ministries and Protestant Chaplain at the University of Rochester.

Her M.Div. and D.Min. are both from Princeton Theological Seminary; she also, after 13 years of ordained ministry, obtained a J.D. while serving her third congregation. She is active in Presbytery work, currently serving on two committees as well as Presbytery’s “Big Picture Team.” 

In her leisure time, she enjoys quiet time at home with her spouse and their pets; reading both fiction and non-fiction; walking in Rochester’s lovely parks; streaming British t.v. shows; singing in choirs when she gets the chance; enthusiastically supporting the Bills come what may; and finding as many ways as possible to sneak references to Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings into conversations.
